Lava Rock with Lapis Lazuli bracelet
$25.00
Lapis Lazuli is one of the oldest semi precious gemstones used by ancient civilizations, dating back 6,500 years of it being mined. The ancient Egyptians, Sumerians and Babylonians used a lot of Lapis Lazuli.
It is created in the earth via contact metamorphosis. Lapis occurs in a deep blue with calcite and pyrite inclusions. Nicknamed the Stone of Kings or the Stone of Wisdom.
Legend says this stone is symbolic for helping to speak clearly and conscisely.
The photo of the bracket next to the ruler is the truest capture of the blue. It’s hard to photograph some of the stones and get a good color result.
