Charoite is a rare purple mineral prized for its vibrant purple hues that show up as swirling patterns of purple lavender, black veining with chatoyance inclusions.
It can form with inclusions of White Quartz, Black Aegirine and orange Tinaksote. Â It is a vibrant and rare silicate mineral found only in Siberia near the Chara River.
This Charoite necklace is strung on a jewelry cable with a stainless steel lobster claw clasp. It is 20″ length.
Charoite’s nickname is the Stone of Transformation. Metaphysically it is believed to help overcome fear, relieve stress, promote inner peace, inner strength, courage and deepen intuition.
