There are only two main types of Jade which can occur in a variety of colors. We all know of the green variety which is what we have in stock. But it also occurs in white, yellow, brown, grey, black. A rare highly prized lavender form of Jadeite occurs in shades from lilac to deep purple.Â
Jadeite (not pictured) is softer and better suited to carvings not jewelry.Â
Nephrite Jade (pictured here) is harder than Jadeite and better suited to jewelry.
Nephrite Jade often has black flecks which are inclusions which are easier to spot in the lighter shades of green. If the Jade is a darker green the black flecks when present are less noticeable.Â
Jade has been used for thousands of years as ceremonial tools, bowls, figurines and carvings.
Jade symbolizes purity, wisdom, protection, prosperity, longevity, harmony and balance.

8mm Lapis Lazuli Bracelet

Lapis Lazuli is one of the oldest semi precious gemstones; 6,500 years of being mined. The ancient Egyptians, Sumarians and Babylonians used a lot of Lapis Lazuli.
It is created in the earth via contact metamorphosis. Lapis occurs in a deep blue with calcite and pyrite inclusions. Nicknamed the Stone of Kings or the Stone of Wisdom.
Legend says this stone is symbolic for helping to speak clearly and conscisely.
The photo of the bracket next to the ruler is the truest capture of the blue. It’s hard to photograph some of the stones and get a good color result.
Abalone necklace – rectangle
Abalone is harvested and eaten in many cultures. The swirling color of abalone comes from the inner shell of a sea snail. This snail makes a nacre adding aragonite platelets to it in layers making it harder and more colorful than other types of Mother of Pearl. The colors come from how the microscopic layers are laid down which diffract light into deep hues of purples, green, blues and pink.
New Zealand Abalone is exceptionally colorful. The better quality commands higher prices than a duller paler Abalone.
This Abalone necklace is strung on jewelry cable with a stainless steel lobster claw clasp. I have added faceted amethyst gemstones with flashy crystals.

Chrysoprase Bracelet 8mm
Chrysoprase is a form of Chalcedony. Color ranges from apple green to deep emerald green with inclusions of black or dark brown which can be goethite, iron oxides and sometime manganese oxides forming dendritic patterns.
It’s nicknamed the Stone of Venus here it is symbolizing love and fertility.
It also symbolizes emotional balance, compassion and wealth, it is considered soothing, calming for emotional heart healing.
Graphite Feldspar bracelet
This Graphite Feldspar has smokey quartz inclusions inside a creamy white feldspar. It can form in other color variations. I like this color combo the best.
Graphite Feldspar is known to help with creativity, self awareness and help with grounding.

Picasso Jasper is a metamorphic limestone known for a white to grey base with black or red dendritic lines and it is not a true Jasper. Primarily sourced in Utah the striking patterns remind us of art hence the name.

Speckled teal jasper symbolizes necessary change, opening your eyes to new ideas and your true purpose, good luck, prosperity. I would imagine it’s nickname to be African Turquoise. Since that’s how most laymen know it.
