Howlite is a soft porous stone naturally white with grey veins. It is often dyed blue to simulate turquoise. It can be distinguished from turquoise by its softness and too perfect dyed coloring.
Howlite’s nickname is White Buffalo Stone or White Buffalo Turquoise. Howlite is not turquoise.

Pink coral is formed by marine polyps. It is a gem but not a gemstone as it isn’t stone. Most coral is from the Mediterranean Sea or from Japan.
It naturally forms in red, pink, peachy pink, blue and black. It can take a high polish. Coral looks amazing in jewelry. It does need to be handled with some care as it is softer than stone and can break if treated carelessly.
It can be dyed to give it a more uniform color. But the colors it forms in naturally already exist, dying only causes it to be more uniform in color from bead to bead.
Coral symbolizes protection, vitality, fertility, wealth, safe travel, passion.
Also before buying incredibly expensive coral seek a professionals help so you are not taken advantage of. A professional can test for authenticity and dyes which should not be present in a natural undyed specimen.

Calcite is a common carbonate mineral that comes in a variety of softer colors perfect for jewelry. It forms naturally in colorless, white, yellow, orange, green, blue, red or brown.

We typically use the yellow Calcite in a matte finish for casual looks and a shiny polish finish for dressy looks which pairs nicely with neutral outfits and stacks effortlessly with pearls and shells. Can be casual to dressy casual to dressy.

The next symbol I found is Gebo, the X mark on the handle. It is also from the Futhark runes and it means: gift, happiness, partnership, giving, gratitude, bonds of love, heart, compassion, give help, receive a boon, to touch on some of its meaning.
The last symbol I found is the ancient Spiral symbol on the handle. Spirals date back to the Neolithic Period. Predating writing by thousands of years. The oldest known spirals are in Lascaux, France dating back 17,000 years.
Spirals have been found worldwide in single, double or triple spirals being Celtic relating to life, death, rebirth or other concepts that occur in 3’s.

What is the deal with Spirals you ask:
