Unakite is comprised primarily of Pink Orthoclase Feldspar, Green Epidote and Clear to Smoky Quartz. It has a mottled green and pink appearance. Unakite is considered an altered form of granite.
Unakite was first discovered in the Unaka Range of the Smoky Mountains in North Carolina.
It is nicknamed the Stone of Vision. Unakite symbolizes compassion, love, emotional balance, grounding, and a sense of peace.
